Some exciting Medicare news was just released, and we are excited to share it with you! According to medicare.gov, Medicare Part B is now covering at home COVID tests! That’s right, now you can get a COVID test to take in the convenience of your own home for FREE!
If you live in Tennessee, just head to your local participating pharmacy with your Medicare card and present them at the pharmacy counter to get your free test. See below for additional information.
What Pharmacies Participate?
Currently in Tennessee the major pharmacies that participate are CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, and Costco. If you would like more information on participating pharmacies, you can head to medicare.gov.
Is There A Limit To the Number Of Tests?
You can get eight tests per month.
How Long Will The Free Tests Last?
As it stands, Medicare B recipients will be able to receive the free tests until the end of the COVID Emergency. Obviously, no one can be sure when the COVID Emergency is going to end, but for now, you can get eight tests per month.
